Thank you for your comment. I love the beauty, especially in Southeast Alaska, when the sun shines on snow covered trees. I used to love winter and welcome it when I used to ski; but now at 84 it is a little harder to get around so winter definitely creates some problems. I definitely don't look forward to it warming up and raining and turning everything into an icefield.
